CyberTrak unveils Generation 3 GPS tracking system using the Cingular GSM network

Cerritos, CA: CyberTrak Sales Director, John Martin, announced CyberTrak’s latest entry into their very successful line of interactive GPS tracking products, the new G3.  Available mid-November, the G3 model provides faster and more reliable communication than ever before using Cingular’s GSM network SMS messaging system.  Available in both consumer and fleet versions, the G3 model features more user adjustable features as well as expanded reporting functions for all levels of service. For consumer usage the G3 adds several new software features, many of which are perfect for the parents of teenage drivers.  With 6 user adjustable Geo-Fence settings (that inform you if your vehicle is moved into or out of an area you have set for notification), 2 user adjustable speed thresholds (that let you know when your son or daughter exceeds your chosen speed setting), and the ability to disable the vehicle’s starter at will, the G3 is like having adult supervision without actually being there.

Fleet users will especially love the CyberTrak G3’s new features.  The 5 minute automatic update feature allows fleet managers to view all their vehicles on the map at the same time.  Mileage maintenance alerts and a useful variety of reports can be produced and also downloaded to Microsoft Excel format for easy reference.  And, one of the biggest benefits for fleet operators is the G3’s new money-saving, flat airtime pricing program with unlimited use.

The G3’s new technology has also enabled CyberTrak to offer their most aggressive pricing to date.  Dealer cost on the G3 is a full 25% less than previous versions, and the SMS messaging protocol has allowed CyberTrak to restructure subscription packages and pass the airtime savings on to customers.
