USACI News Upates

Manufacturer Member Awareness Program:
USACI manufacturer members will have a new way to reach potential customer as of February 1st, 2007.  Each week USACI receives hundreds of phone calls and e-mail from members wanting to join and new individuals interested in getting started in competition. In the case of members renewals and new members USACI mails out packages to every one of them with their membership cards and new member information. AS for new individuals wanting information on competing or advice on their systems USACI mails out a prospective member package to introduce the individuals to USACI. Every one who calls and is interested in car audio or competition gets a piece of mail from USACI either USPS or E-mail.

Starting February USACI will ask all of our manufacturer members to develop a one-page product sheet directed at new competitors and USACI members. USACI will place their product literature in every letter and membership package we send out all season long. Electronic versions of this same literature will be sent to e-mail received from individuals with question about USACI.

At USACI we appreciate he support of our manufacturers and we want all our members, competitors, and supporters to know who these manufacturers are that support the organization as well as what product and services they have to offer. This new service will be free of charge to all USACI manufacturer members. For more info e-mail usacms@aol.com or call Ralph Randall at 479-750-0505.

Import Face Off Texas:
Despite the torrents of rain and cold wind blowing through the Greyhound Race Track on Interstate 45 between Houston and Galveston this weekend, the USACI Sanctioned Import Face Off event was a huge success by all standards. Over 250 car show entries and more than 40 USACI sound off competitors braved the severe wind and rain as did over 1000 spectators who visited the annual event. Jenissa Lillard and her crew from the Houston area were on hand to help with event and did a great job!

Mike Darville and dB Steve Benton drove down from the USACI main office with stage, PA and equipment to help keep the crowds entertained. Thank you to all the competitors and the event promoters for their hard work and support. This was a really great event despite the bad weather and is a sure sign of the year to come. USACI 2007 is off to great start

Street Warriorz 2007:
Once again USACI will be the exclusive lifestyle event producers for the Kumho Street Warriorz event series. USACI will produce custom car shows, USACI sanctioned sound off events, live stage shows, Bikini Contests, and much, much more for all the events in the 2007 season. With all the cold weather in rest of the USA we could not think of a better place to start the season than sunny south Florida.

Immokalee Regional Raceway will once again be taken over by the heat from the streets, proving that the Southeast knows how to party.

The gates will swing at 4p.m. on February 24th in an attempt to keep the highways surrounding the track clear. If you remember the enormous crowds that turned out for the party last year, you know the cars will come from all over the South! Before the gates were opened last year there were cars lined up out the driveway, and eventually 2 miles out. Local police were called in for traffic control at the cities intersections.

Last year the series drew a record number of racers and spectators to the hardcore venue, and plans are in the works to blow last year out of the water. With the track opened up to anyone who wants to grudge race, the midway opened up to the hottest show cars and car audio competitors and the party rolling all night long, Immokalee will be the place to be. The Outlaw Roadshow will be on hand to make sure things get out of hand and downright crazy!

Josh Sanders, a local racer from the ’06 season recalled the event as a freak show that took over his local track. “I’ve got to say, it was nonstop action, and never boring,” Sanders said as he headed back to his street bruising ’86 Camaro. “I come here almost every Friday, but this is out of the ordinary. This is definitely just one huge party.”

With the principle behind Immokalee’s hold on the South being the desire to give street racers a hard-core venue to race without intimidation, brackets or knock-outs, Immokalee will prove to be one of the best venues to take over and throw a wild street party!
