Mobile Solutions’ Extreme Fabrication Training Packs a Punch!
TEMPE, ARIZ., Professional technicians have a leading resource for continuing education with Mobile Solutions training. Until recently, Mobile Solutions exclusively trained technicians out on the road across the U.S. and Canada with the popular Fabrication Essentials and Advanced Fabrication hands-on seminars. Now Mobile Solutions is offering its latest five-day Extreme Fabrication training in its new Tempe, Ariz. headquarters.
Bryan Schmitt, founder of Mobile Solutions, explained, “Our goal with Extreme Fabrication training is to offer an opportunity for experienced technicians and fabricators to enhance their capacity to offer something special, something different, something nobody else in their area is doing.”
Since January of this year, technicians from as far away as Italy and Denmark as well as from all over the U.S. have converged on the Mobile Solutions training center for the five-day Extreme Fabrication training. While everyone who came for training was already working professionally, many quickly determined there were even more tricks of the trade they could go back and implement into their businesses.
“I got a lot more techniques and tricks than I could have imagined,” said Joshua Landau of JML Audio (St. Louis). Joshua attended the 5-day Extreme Fabrication class in early February.
Joe Bouney of Joe’s Car Stereo (Delaware), another Extreme Fabrication attendee, said, “It was great and overall the best experience in my 15 year car audio career!”
Participants in the Extreme Fabrication class completed their training by constructing a project that summarized many of the techniques learned throughout the session. Whether welding or discovering a completely new way to think about fiberglass, the Extreme Fabrication training has topics everyone can appreciate. A particularly useful part of the class to the attendees was the labor management section on how to actually charge for and track the progress of the labor being done on custom jobs.
“An hour here or there not accounted for is multiplied exponentially when you look at a month or year’s worth of lost revenue” adds Bryan Schmitt.
Scott Whitehead, president of Benchmark Motoring, a successful single store retailer located in Bellevue, Wash., added, “Given the hurdles the 12 volt industry faces today, it is refreshing to know that Bryan Schmitt and fellow training colleague Todd Ramsey have fully committed themselves to providing clear direction, practical tools, and valuable techniques to open minded retailers and technicians who aspire to turn market difficulties into market opportunities. From time saving techniques to proven strategies that create and sustain competitive advantage, I can’t think of a more worthy or higher return investment than coming to spend a few days with this team of industry professionals.”
