Mountlake Terrace, WA  Sound Quality competitors at the 2007 MECA World Finals found themselves hovering around the AudioControl SA-3055 Real Time Analyzer as it made it’s way from car to car, taking measurements for the RTA Freq-Out competition.  AudioControl, manufacturer of high performance signal processors and audio analyzers sponsored the RTA Freq-Out event and put up a $500 cash prize for the winner, making it one of the main attractions at the show.
When the dust (and RTA settled) Lee Byerly of Team Phat Hertz (IL) took home the RTA Freq-Out trophy and the prize money, scoring 37 (out of 40) @ 101dB. “This years RTA Freq-Out was the most fun and watched audio event I have ever been in,” stated Lee Byerly.
