Phoenix Gold Launches New 400-Watt Ryval Series Amplifier at 2008 CES

LAS VEGAS, Nev., Jan. 7, 2008 — Phoenix Gold (www.phoenixgold.com), a division of Rodin, is proud to announce the launch of its new V4001 400-Watt monoblock Ryval Series amplifier at the 2008 CES Show, held from Jan. 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, booth #2418 (North Hall). The new V4001 Ryval Series amplifier is scheduled to ship January 2008 with a suggested retail price of $299.99.

“Based on the tremendously successful launch of our Ryval amplifier series last year, we have been asked by our customers to design yet another option to further expand the line,” explained Stewart Millager, Phoenix Gold director of engineering. “Ryval features remarkable sound quality, performance, power output, feature sets and aesthetics for such an affordable line. Of course, consumers would expect nothing less from Phoenix Gold.”

General features of Phoenix Gold’s Ryval amplifier series include:
•    12dB/Octave Variable Crossover 45Hz~300Hz
•     Sensitivity adjustment (Minimum – 8V, Maximum 90mV)
•    Bypass Line level outputs are full range frequency response, unity gain
•    LPL (Low pass level control) connector
•    12dB Bass Boost @ 50Hz
•    Line level and High level inputs
•    AMP platform optimized for 2 Ohm Mono Load

Additional specifications for the V4001 Mono amplifier include:
•    Power Output: 500W x 1 @ 4 ohm max; 250W x 1 @ 4 ohm
800W x 1 @ 2 ohm max; 400W x 1 @ 2 ohm
•    Frequency Response: 20Hz-500Hz; 14.4VDC and 1% THD+N (CEA2006)
•    Crossover Frequency: 40Hz~300Hz @ 12dB per Octave
